Hot Snakes - Peel Sessions
Hot Snakes.. what a band. A old roommate showed me them about 5-6 years ago now and they quickly became one of my favorite bands. I Picked this up the other night when a different friend of mine brought some records to sell at a gig.. This is one of the last pieces of Hot Snakes vinyl that I needed for my collection. Never really sought it out but glad it crossed my path.. Limited Red Vinyl that looks more pinkish then red.

Ten Yard Fight - Hardcore Pride
I've loved tyf since I first heard them in 1998. I also started to buy records the same year and up until now I have never had any TYF colored vinyl. weird right? I don't know what took me so long to get these but a couple weeks ago one of my friends was selling off a chunk of his collection and had these in there. I picked these 2 versions of the 7" up along with a couple other records that I'll post about in the coming days.
First up is the BWR version on Blue out of 900. I did not notice there was a big black chunk in the vinyl till I pulled it out to take the picture I dont know if this was common with the press or not? anyone know?

This is the Equal Vision Records version Grey/300 with a slightly different cover and labels then the BWR press.

Interpol 7"s
Last weekend a friend of mine was selling some records to make some room the prize of the collection was a brotherhood 7" first press. I was the first person there but was late to make an offer on it. I will get it another time. I still looked thou the boxes of records and the only thing that really caught my eye where these Interpol records I picked up a couple TEST PRESSES of 3 of the early 7"s on Matador and 3 of the regular presses I was able to get C'mere 1 Test press , C'mere 2 Test press Say Hello to the Angles / NYC Test Press. I emailed Matador and found out there was only about 10 of these made each. I also picked up the regular versions of C'mere 1 and 2 that are both numbered out of what i guess was 5000 c'mere 1 is #4037 and #2 is #0895 and a copy of Obstacle 1. I would have never thought I would own these records but its a good little surprise to the collection.

No Tolerance - No Remorse. No Tolerance
I've been waiting for a new NT record forever now and once YB announced the pre-orders I waited by my computer clicking refresh till these went up. I grabbed them on Gold and Red. One of the better straight edge bands around now. The last song on the 7" also features Carms from Waste Management. If for some reason you have not heard them go out and pick up this 7" from Youngblood Records.

Slint - Spiderland
I downloaded this record a couple years ago now. I liked it but never got super into it at first. Then a couple weeks ago I was looking for something to listen to and saw it in my itunes and put it on. It hit me how great this record was. The raw energy of it just struck a chord with me. The next day I was at a record store and had to pick it up finally. The cover picture of spiderland is great I have always liked it. other then that there is not much to the layout. Its good to own it on vinyl finally.
